PROJECT FAITH
A religious question comes in many different forms. Luther's religious question was "How do I find a Merciful God?" Today we certainly would not put the question that way. However, today we might hear people ask, "Where is God? Does God exist?" For that reason, we of Wheat Ridge Lutheran Church will be starting a new outreach program called, "PROJECT FAITH." We will, with the Spirit's guidance and power, seek to provide a spiritual "sounding-board" where religious questions people have, will find an answer. If you have spiritual questions that need an answer, write them out and bring or send to Wheat Ridge Lutheran Church, 8600 W. 38th Avenue, Wheat Ridge, CO 80033. Questions may be also called to the church office 303.424.3161 or send email.

Outreach
Sunday School Offerings
Haiti Relief
Our new mission project's goal is $1,000 to help the people of Haiti recover from the devastation of the earthquake that struck that country on January 12th this year. The donation will be made to Lutheran World Relief and Human Care with a request that it be channeled through LCMS missionary, Danielle Putnam, in the Dominican Republic, a neighboring country that shares the island of Hispaniola in the Caribbean Sea.

Thank You!
A check for $500 has been sent to the Siberian Lutheran Mission Society from our mission offerings fund. Thank you to the members of the Sunday Adult Bible Class and the Sunday School students who contributed the money that helped us reach that goal on February 21. The donation will support the Siberian Lutheran Church in its sharing God's Word and Sacraments with people in Russia.

Good Shepherd Communities
Good Shepherd Communities has an on-going need of paper towels. Paper towels are used in all the Good Shepherd Homes in order to control the spread of colds, flu and any other illnesses which are so prevalent.
We have an opportunity to help our Handicapped friends by adding paper towels to our shopping lists and bringing them to the church Treasure Chest. This is an on-going collection. Thank you.
