Rev. James Knapp,
Pastor

Pastor Knapp is a native of Colorado. He attended Mt. Calvary Lutheran Elementary school and Denver Lutheran High School. He received a Bachelor of Science degree from Colorado State University. He taught in the public school system in Oregon and received a Master of Arts degree from Southern Oregon State University. He earned his Secondary Education administrators certificate from the University of Oregon and then served as principal before going to Concordia Theological Seminary in Ft. Wayne, Indiana where he earned a Master of Divinity. He has served parishes in Sioux City, Iowa and Polson, Montana before coming to Wheat Ridge Lutheran in 1992. Pastor Knapp is married to Karen (Flowers) and they have three grown children and one grandchild.

Karen Knapp,
Office Administrator

Karen is a Colorado native. She is a graduate of Denver Lutheran High School. She is the mother of three and grandmother of one. Karen joined the staff in 1995.
