Building The Kingdom

Tracing our history back for over 50 years we find that our charter members and all the members, both those here on earth and those already called home, did a wonderful job of providing a facility and a structure that was conducive for the teaching, the telling and the preaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

–  In the 1950’s a church was constructed
–  In the 1960’s a Christian Day School was added
–   In the mid 1980’s a new worship facility was added
–   In the mid 1990’s  a preschool ministry was established

Once again, it is time to update and make changes on our building. On November 8, 2009, Ground Breaking was held for the expansion and renovation of administrative offices, study, storage, kitchen fellowship space. All these changes are designed to make the facility and worship more useful and comfortable.

Months after groundbreaking, the members of Wheat Ridge Evangelical Lutheran Church have moved into an expanded and renovated administrative offices, pastor study, and kitchen/fellowship space. A Service for the Building Dedication was held on September 26, 2010.
