Season of Giving – Angel Tree

LWML is organizing the Angel Tree giving project once again this year.

The benefactor this year is the Jefferson County Office Hugs program by Victim Outreach. This program enables deputies to provide comfort and help ease the stress of anyone facing a traumatic situation with huggable teddy bear. We are requesting donations of new 8″ tall teddy bears or a $20 donation to allow Victim Outreach to purchase 2 teddy bears wearing a t-shirt that reads “I got hugs from the police department”. You can also support Victim Outreach with gift cards to help victims purchase essential items (Amazon, Walmart, Target, King Soopers, Safeway, etc.) or you can provide new t-shirts, sweatshirts, or sweatpants in any size. On Sunday, November 30, you will see a Christmas tree set up by the west door with angels on it. You take an angel and bring it back with your donation by Sunday, December 28. Thank you, in advance, for your participation!
